From farmers and horticulturalists to restauranteurs and cleaners can all benefit from using EM-1, it will help to establish an antioxidant foundation for other beneficial microorganisms to proliferate and destorys scent trails that cockroaches and rodents use to follow good scents.  The combination of lactic acid bacteria, yeast, and purple non-sulfur bacteria (phototrophic bacteria) become this foundation that will create a healthy antioxidant environment.

EM America has developed a special version of Effective Microorganisms for bioremediation purposes.  This product is called AEM1 Plus. This is a commercially-available product.
Our approach is to spray using pump sprayers and fogging units that will allow for better coverage of within and outside of the building being remediated.    One gallon of AEM1® Plus can treat 10,000 square feet of space.  Depending on the condition of the building, more than one application may be necessary before sheetrocking and painting the walls.  We also recommend that our clients periodically fog or mist with AEM1® Plus after the reconstruction is complete.
